This quarter, we will explore Genesis 1-11. We call this portion of scripture the prologue of the Bible. Like a prologue, it introduces a massive amount of the themes, concepts, and ideas that flow through the rest of the Bible. We can’t address every one of these motifs this quarter, but most of the Bible Concepts and Definitions in the quarters that follow derive from Genesis 1-11.
